1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and ChalSawari, a business registered with the Federal Board of Revenue, Pakistan, at https://chalsawari.com. By booking a ride you accept these terms.

2. What we do

ChalSawari is a booking and dispatch platform. We connect riders with independent bike, rickshaw, car and loader drivers in Bahawalpur. We do not own the vehicles and the drivers are not our employees; they are independent partners who accept bookings through us.

3. Booking and fares

• The fare shown at the time of booking is the fare for that trip. It does not increase during the ride.
• The fare is calculated from vehicle type, distance, time and the applicable night rate. Waiting time beyond the free period, toll charges and extra stops may be added, and are told to you before they apply.
• Fares are paid in cash directly to the driver at the end of the ride. We do not currently take online payment. Never pay a fare to anyone other than the driver of your booking.
• If you offer your own fare at booking, the ride only goes ahead if a driver accepts that offer.
• Package and monthly rates are agreed separately in writing or by WhatsApp before the package starts.

4. Your responsibilities as a rider

• Give a correct mobile number and a pickup point the driver can actually reach.
• Be ready at the pickup point at the booked time.
• Pay the agreed fare in full at the end of the ride.
• Treat the driver and the vehicle with respect. Do not damage the vehicle.
• Do not carry anything illegal, dangerous, flammable or prohibited by Pakistani law.
• Wear the helmet provided on a bike ride, and follow traffic safety instructions.
• Do not use the service if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

5. Driver and partner terms

• Drivers must hold a valid CNIC, a valid driving licence and a registered, roadworthy vehicle, and must provide these for verification.
• Drivers must not ask for more than the fare shown on the booking.
• Drivers must not cancel a confirmed booking without a genuine reason, and must not refuse a rider on the basis of gender, religion, ethnicity or disability.
• Drivers are responsible for their own vehicle documents, fitness, fuel, maintenance, taxes and any traffic fines.
• We may suspend or remove any driver who receives repeated complaints, overcharges riders, or behaves unsafely.

6. Cancellation

Cancellation is covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Our liability

We take reasonable care in verifying drivers and vehicles, but the ride itself is provided by an independent driver. We are not liable for accidents, injuries, delays, loss or damage arising during a ride, beyond what Pakistani law requires of us.

We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, strikes, protests, breakdowns or events outside our control.

Where we are found liable for any claim, our liability is limited to the fare paid for the ride in question.

The service depends on the internet and mobile networks. We do not guarantee that the website or booking system will be available without interruption.

8. Lost property

We will help you contact the driver about anything left in a vehicle, but we are not responsible for lost or forgotten items. Recovered items are held at our office for 14 days.

9. Misuse of the service

We may refuse service, block a number, or cancel bookings where we see fake bookings, abusive behaviour, non-payment of fares, or any attempt to interfere with the website.

10. Intellectual property

The ChalSawari name, logo, website design and content belong to ChalSawari and may not be copied or used without written permission.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Bahawalpur, Punjab.

12. Changes and contact
